- Yle pointed to Finland's inability to control the situation with UAVs over the country.
Finland is not up to the task of controlling unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in its airspace. This was reported on April 2 by Yle TV and radio company with reference to the former director of research of the Finnish Defense Forces, Yuri Kosol.
"Radar networks are not able to fully cope with this task due to the low speed and small size of these devices. They are often mistaken for birds," the publication says.
