Viewing platforms and a promenade will be created on the embankment in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, a large-scale reconstruction of the Sports Harbor embankment will continue in 2026. A search is underway for a contractor for the next stage of work, the city administration reports.

The new stage of landscaping provides for the renovation of the site opposite the Olympian sports complex. The project includes the creation of cozy recreation areas, a wide promenade, view platforms, and the transformation of the square in front of the sports center.

The Urban Environment Department notes that the project was developed in the same style as the previous stages of reconstruction. The experts also tried to take into account the cultural and historical appearance of the city center and preserve the natural identity of the region.

According to PrimaMedia news agency, landscaping works are also planned, which have a separate role in the renovation of the embankment. The concept of the "seaside urban taiga" will remain, the entire free territory will be covered with greenery, and two large areas with dense plantings will also appear.

It is planned to determine the contractor on April 21, the maximum value of the contract with him will be 315.79 million rubles. According to the data on the public procurement portal, it is planned to complete the work by October 14, 2026.
