By the end of March this year, Lada Granta family cars continue to excel in the Russian car market. In early spring, 9861 units of Granta vehicles were sold, including those produced on its basis. This is stated in the report of the analytical agency Autostat, which Izvestia reviewed on April 3.

The Haval Jolion crossover, which sold 5,547 copies in early spring, regained the title of the most popular model in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs). The February winner of this title, the Tenet T7 crossover, dropped a notch lower. By the end of March, its sales amounted to 5,480 units.

This is followed by two Lada models — the Vesta family and the Niva Travel SUV (4,274 and 3,987 units, respectively). The top ten also includes the Tenet T4 crossover (3,840 units), the Haval M6 crossover (3,414 units), the Lada Niva Legend SUV (2,924 units), the Belgee X50 crossover (2,780 units) and the Geely Monjaro crossover (2,631 units).

Only two models in March have negative dynamics compared to the same month last year — these are Granta (-7.8%) and Vesta (-40.5%). The rest, not counting Tenet T7, are showing double-digit growth. And sales volumes of the Belgee X50 increased the most — almost twice. If we study the dynamics for the first quarter, then the Belgee X50 is again the best (an increase of 2.2 times). A decrease in sales is observed for three models — Lada Granta (-21.8%) and Vesta (-55.7%), as well as Geely Monjaro (-6.6%).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that 104.3 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia in the first spring month of 2026, which is 30.6% more than in March 2025. This result was the best since the beginning of 2026.
