Ex-MP Ponomarev was sentenced to 19 years for organizing riots in Makhachkala

Ilya Ponomarev, a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, included in the list of terrorists and extremists), was sentenced to 19 years in prison for participating in organizing riots at the Makhachkala airport. This was reported on April 2 in the Joint Press Service of the Courts of the Republic of Dagestan.

"The leader of the criminal group has been sentenced to 19 years in prison," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

According to the press service, we are talking specifically about the former State Duma deputy, RIA Novosti reports.
