Russia will insist on maximum observance of the silence regime by all parties, including the United States and Israel, during the departure of personnel from the Bushehr nuclear power plant. This was announced on March 2 on the sidelines of the International Transport and Logistics Forum by Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev.

"Naturally, the routes of movement will be communicated to the competent authorities of both Israel and the United States, and through all channels we will ask for maximum observance of the silence regime during the movement of convoys," he said.

He also expressed gratitude to the governments of Iran and Armenia for their assistance in carrying out previous evacuations that were carried out across the Iranian-Armenian border. Likhachev did not name a specific date for the start of the new stage of the removal of employees, noting the direct dependence of the process on the military-political situation.

"Well, the clock is ticking. I don't want to name any specific dates right now. A lot depends on the specific military and political situation in the region. Any events can either delay or bring the evacuation closer. We are not living for days now, we are living for hours now," stressed the head of Rosatom.

On the same day, Likhachev announced the continuation of the first unit of the Bushehr NPP. He noted that the main task of the state corporation now is the final stage of evacuation of people from the station, within which it is planned to take out more than 200 people.

On March 28, the Iranian government informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about another strike in the Bushehr NPP area. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, in turn, expressed deep concern about reports of military activity near the nuclear power plant.

On April 28, Likhachev announced the evacuation of 163 employees from the Bushehr NPP. He also added that several dozen people may remain at the site to ensure the operability and safety of the equipment.
