All ice crossings in the Komsomolsk region of the Khabarovsk Territory have stopped working. This was announced by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on Thursday, April 2.

The last ice crossing was closed near the village of Yagodny. This is a technological seasonal road across the Amur River.

The decision to close was made due to an increase in air temperature. There is a risk of people and equipment falling through the ice of the river, the Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasizes.

According to IA AmurMedia, six ice crossings remain open in the Khabarovsk Territory today. One continues to operate in Nikolaevsky, Verkhnebureinsky and Ayano-Maysky districts, the other three in the Polina Osipenko district.

At the end of March, it was reported that the Sutyr River crossing in the village of Tyrma was closed in the Verkhnebureinsky district, and the Katen River crossing stopped working in the Lazo area.
