Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, taking part in a briefing, lost his temper on April 2 after a journalist asked him about the brutality shown by the security forces to protesters. Raising his voice, he called on the media representative to be silent.

"You've asked a question, now shut up for a minute, okay? Shut up, for God's sake, or they'll take you out of here now. Shut up now, I said shut up now!" he said.

Before that, Pashinyan, referring to his own observations, accused members of the press of provoking the police themselves by literally "falling under their feet."

Speaking about this, the Prime Minister clarified that the authorized persons are simply doing their job. At that time, the conversation was held in a fairly calm tone, which disappeared after the girl who asked the question began interrupting Pashinyan.

On March 29, the Armenian prime minister got into a scandalous situation after a parishioner of St. Anne's Church, where Pashinyan attended the service, did not like the look of one of his guards. The citizen asked the bodyguard not to look at him that way, after which another believer tried to hit another person accompanying the politician.

On the same day, the Interior Ministry of the republic reported on the detention of three people as a result of the incident, who were subsequently charged with attempting to attack Pashinyan.
