The All-Russian Olympiad of school students in entrepreneurship is reaching the stage of regional finals

In April, Russia will host the regional finals of the All–Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Entrepreneurship, one of the country's career guidance projects aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking among students in grades 9-11. The first final will be held on April 6 in Rostov-on-Don at the Southern Federal University. The following events will be held in Pyatigorsk, Tyumen, Tomsk, Samara, Khabarovsk, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The second season of the Olympiad has already brought together 12,757 talented high school students from all over the country. The participants passed the qualifying stages, training courses and webinars with experts, and also developed individual and team entrepreneurial initiatives. The teams that successfully completed all the educational tracks and practical blocks reached the regional finals.

As part of the regional finals, students will present projects in key sectors of the economy – from technological, environmental, social and educational solutions to entertainment and leisure initiatives, as well as developments in the development of the commercial sector. The works will be evaluated by an expert jury based on originality, potential for implementation and monetization, as well as market fit.

Following the results of the nine regional finals, 27 winners will be determined. They will receive up to 10 additional points upon admission to more than 50 leading universities in the country, as well as the opportunity to complete a program on the development of entrepreneurial competencies and their business projects. The brightest teams will have the opportunity to complete internships at regional Technology parks and become participants in acceleration programs.

The Olympiad is held as part of the development of youth entrepreneurship in Russia and is aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking among schoolchildren and supporting their talents, which is one of the priority goals of national development until 2030.
