Moscow football club FC Lokomotiv has extended the contract with goalkeeper of the Russian national team Anton Mitryushkin until 2030. The relevant information was posted on the club's official website on April 2.

"The football club Lokomotiv has extended the employment agreement with the goalkeeper of the team Anton Mitryushkin. The new agreement with the player will be valid until 2030," the publication says.

It is noted that the goalkeeper has been in the club's structure since 2024 and during this period he played 40 matches for the main team, in eight of which he did not concede a single goal. In addition, since the second half of the 2025/2026 season, Mitryushkin has been the captain of Lokomotiv.

Lokomotiv (44 points after 22 meetings) is in third place in the RPL table, adds Sport-Express.

On January 13, CSKA announced that Dmitry Barinov, the former captain of Lokomotiv and midfielder of the Russian national football team, had joined the army. In total, the athlete participated in 274 matches for Lokomotiv, including the Champions League and the Europa League, and scored 13 goals.
