The Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow seized property worth over 533.6 million rubles from the former Deputy Interior Minister of Dagestan, Rufat Ismailov, and four other defendants. This was announced on April 2 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

During the meeting, the defendants and their representatives opposed the satisfaction of the claim, referring to the legality of the acquisition of property. They also claimed that some of the objects were bought on credit.

In turn, the prosecutor drew attention to Ismailov's lifestyle. He recalled that a large number of luxury items were found and seized from the former deputy Interior Minister of Dagestan, which does not correspond to information about his earnings. Ismailov himself participated in the meeting from the pre-trial detention center via video link.

Ismailov was detained on November 7, 2023, and a criminal case was opened against him on the same day for receiving and paying a particularly large bribe. The next day, a correspondent of Izvestia, broadcasting from the hall of the Basmanny court in Moscow, announced the arrest of the defendant.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
