The first commuter trains have started running between Russia and Belarus. The ceremony was held on April 2 as part of the International Transport and Logistics Forum (ITLF).

It is noted that such an electric train left Smolensk and will arrive in Orsha at 16:07.

"The launch of border railway routes between Russia and Belarus is a historic decision for the Union State," RIA Novosti quoted Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin as saying.
