- The Iranian Ambassador to Egypt announced the transfer of conditions for peace to the mediators.
The mediators of Iran and the United States in the negotiation process to resolve the escalation that has arisen between them have received conditions from Tehran for establishing peace. This was announced on April 2 by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Egypt, Mojtaba Ferdoushpour.
"We have the conditions to end the war. We are asking for compensation through intermediaries in the region, the lifting of all sanctions," he said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
In addition, the Iranian side demands guarantees from the American side, as the agency's interlocutor emphasized, that aggression will not resume.
Bloomberg news agency learned a day earlier that US President Donald Trump had delivered an ultimatum to the Iranian authorities with his Vice President Jay Dee Vance. It was clarified that in the text, Washington demanded that Tehran sign the deal, and otherwise reserved the right to attack key infrastructure facilities.
Majid Mousavi, Commander of the Military Space Forces (VKS) of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), on April 2, commenting on the American threats, called them "Hollywood illusions." He drew attention to the fact that a country with a modest 250-year history is trying to threaten his state, which is inhabited by a civilization that is more than 6 thousand years old. Mousavi added that the American leadership, by sending its military to the territory of the Middle East, is pushing them to their deaths.
