A batch of Krasnopol-M2 guided missiles was delivered to the troops
The High-Precision Complexes Holding has delivered another batch of Krasnopol-M2 guided artillery shells to the Russian troops. This was announced on April 2 by Rostec State Corporation.
"The Rostec State Corporation's High-Precision Complexes holding has supplied the Russian Ministry of Defense with another batch of Krasnopol—M2 guided artillery shells," a statement on the state corporation's website said.
Rostec pointed out that the production of precision-guided munitions is a priority for the state corporation's enterprises, "which are consistently increasing the volume of product supplies to the troops." It is specified that the projectiles are actively used during a special military operation and are valued for their good handling and accuracy.
The state corporation stressed that the shells have high versatility, as they can be launched from both self-propelled howitzers and towed guns from closed firing positions.
On April 1, the Kalashnikov Concern announced that in the first quarter of 2026 it increased production of shortened AK-12K assault rifles by 15% compared to the planned figures of the previous year. The weapon was developed by the company's design team and promptly put into mass production. It is noted that the model is equipped with a low-noise firing device and has improved ergonomic and operational characteristics. Despite its smaller size and weight, the product retains all the combat qualities of the basic AK-12 assault rifle.
