Mazda's revenue from car sales in Russia increased 17-fold

Mazda Motor Rus, which was the official distributor of the Mazda brand in Russia, generated revenue of 3.04 billion rubles from car sales by the end of 2025, which is 17 times more than a year earlier. This was reported on April 2 by Kommersant with reference to the company's financial statements.

According to the publication, last year was the first year for Mazda Motor Rus since 2022, when car sales provided the bulk of its revenue. In 2025, the company's total revenue increased 2.4 times (to 3.9 billion rubles), and net profit increased by 11% (to 1.9 billion rubles).

In 2022, sales of cars brought Mazda Motor Rus 19.8 billion rubles with total revenue of 22.1 billion rubles, and in 2023 - 3.2 million rubles from car sales with total revenue of 2 billion rubles.

It is clarified that, according to the explanation to the reports, in 2025, Mazda Motor Rus acquired several batches of Mazda cars through local suppliers and sold them through a dealer network. According to Autostat, last year sales of new Mazda passenger cars in Russia increased by 49%, to 6.9 thousand units.

Mazda has reduced its activity in Russia since March 2022, having stopped supplying components to the Vladivostok plant (where the brand's cars were produced), and sold its share in the joint venture to Sollers. Mazda has not officially announced its withdrawal from Russia, but the supply of cars by the concern, according to the interlocutors of the publication, has since been discontinued.

In the summer of 2025, it was reported that Mazda Motor Rus plans to establish centralized deliveries of Mazda cars to Russia and by the end of that year bring about 3 thousand cars of the brand for sale, providing them with its own warranty. It was about the CX-5 and CX-50 crossovers.
