Egypt hopes to become a location for grain and energy hubs on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on March 2 by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ata.

During the meeting, Putin also noted that Russia and Egypt could discuss the creation of a grain and energy hub. He added that the two countries have many good plans and a lot is being implemented.
