A medium-level magnetic storm has begun on Earth. This was announced on April 2 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKI RAS).

"A medium-level magnetic storm is taking place on Earth. The event is connected with the incoming stream of fast solar wind, which is formed by a coronal hole of a rather unusual shape," the laboratory said in a Telegram channel message.
