The Kremlin called it unrealistic at the moment to hold a Russian-Arab summit.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was unlikely that a Russian-Arab world summit would be held in the near future. On April 2, he answered the question about the fate of the previously postponed event.
"Holding such a summit is unlikely to be realistic in the near future. It seems to us that holding such a summit will be in demand and useful in the future," he said.
Peskov also said that reducing tensions in the Middle East is possible only through negotiations and dialogue. According to him, the Russian-Arab Summit could be a good platform for this.
