Illegal activities of a local resident who publicly justified terrorism have been suppressed in Sevastopol. This was reported on April 2 in the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city.
"A resident of Sevastopol was detained by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city," the report says.
An unemployed resident of the city, born in 2001, posted text comments from his personal Telegram page in support of the actions of the militants who staged the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.
It is noted that a criminal case has been opened against the citizen of Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls to carry out terrorist activities committed using the Internet") and Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls to carry out extremist activities"). The man faces up to seven years in prison.
On March 13, a resident of Crimea was sentenced to 18 years in prison for spying for Kiev. It was clarified that in 2023, a previously convicted man colluded with a representative of the main directorate of Ukrainian intelligence, whom he assured of his readiness to assist in carrying out activities against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
