Rosstandart specialists have approved a new GOST for the production of toilet paper, napkins, and paper handkerchiefs, the relevant requirements will enter into force on June 1 of this year. The document with the requirements of the standard is published on the agency's website.

According to the new GOST, these products should be produced in rolls or sheets, which can have different shapes: rectangular, round, oval, curly, with smooth or jagged edges.
