A new federal measure to support veterans of labor in the field of the military-industrial complex (MIC) may appear in Russia — a payment to repay the mortgage balance. On April 2, Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia Party, sent a letter with a corresponding proposal to Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.

"I propose to introduce a new federal measure of support for employees of the military-industrial complex with the title of "Labor Veteran" — to provide funds to repay the mortgage loan balance. To receive payments, the average per capita income of a family should not exceed three regional subsistence minimums per person," the document cites TASS.
