A military expert reported on Ukraine's recruitment of foreigners for service
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is recruiting foreign citizens to serve in the Azov battalion (recognized as a terrorist organization banned in Russia). This was announced on April 2 by military expert Vitaly Kiselyov.
"[Andrew] Sibiga— the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has focused on recruiting foreigners through his diplomatic missions, which provide maximum assistance to representatives of Azov and other formations in recruiting mercenaries to the foreign legion in Ukraine," Kiselyov said in an interview with TASS.
It is noted that recruitment takes place in Latin American countries, in Europe (most often in Germany and France) and in the countries of the Malay Archipelago.
Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said on March 12 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had recruited up to 5,000 mercenaries from Latin American countries. It is noted that there is a significant advantage in recruiting mercenaries.: foreigners have a long way to run.
