During his address to the nation, US President Donald Trump may announce the end of the military operation against Iran. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on April 1, citing sources.

"On Wednesday evening, President Donald Trump, in his prime-time address, will announce the end of the month-long war in Iran amid a sharp rise in oil prices and increasingly disappointing public opinion polls," the publication says.

The politician's address is scheduled for 4:00 Moscow time on April 2.
