In Greece, a dust storm turned the sky red and orange.
On the island of Crete in Greece, a dust storm occurred, as a result of which a cloud of dust from the Sahara Desert colored the sky red-orange. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on April 1.
"The popular tourist center is shrouded in an ominous red-orange haze, as thick African dust covered the island, turning the sky into an apocalyptic spectacle and forcing planes to change routes," the publication says.
