The State Duma proposed to increase fines for improper maintenance of property

State Duma Deputy Dmitry Gusev (Fair Russia Party) On April 2, he proposed to increase fines by 10 times for management companies (CC) for poor-quality maintenance of property in apartment buildings.

"Today, it is easier for management companies to pay a symbolic fine than to actually take care of the house. This leads to people living with leaks, accidents, and crumbling infrastructure for years. We propose to make responsibility tangible so that it becomes unprofitable to violate," Gusev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
