Captain Akhmetov destroyed two anti-tank mines with the help of a UAV

Captain Ruslan Akhmetov was engaged in reconnaissance in order to identify the routes of transportation of goods and evacuation of the wounded, when during the reconnaissance he came across two anti-tank mines. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation on April 2.

His high professionalism allowed him to accurately detect mines and prevent their detonation. Akhmetov used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to destroy the mines, moving to a safe distance from them. Removing the obstacle from the route allowed the timely evacuation of the three wounded, which saved their lives.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage of Private Sergei Rymanov, who was delivering ammunition and supplies to a motorized rifle company when his transport was attacked by attack drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Skilfully executing the maneuver, Rymanov led the car away from the impact of the UAV and reached the positions of motorized infantry. On the way back, he took the wounded soldier to a safe place, which saved his life.

He reported this to the command and confronted the enemy alone until reinforcements arrived.
