Armenia was officially invited to SPIEF 2026
Armenia has been officially invited to participate in the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This was reported to Izvestia on April 1 at the Russian Embassy in the republic.
"The invitation was sent, of course. But, as a rule, the composition of the delegation is usually not so determined in advance. Everything is getting closer to the event," the embassy said.
SPIEF 2026 will be held on June 3-6, traditionally at the Expoforum Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg. The guest country of the forum is Saudi Arabia.
On February 5, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin invited representatives of Brazil to participate in the food exhibition in Russia in 2026 and in the SPIEF. According to him, the Russian Federation considers it important to strengthen direct contacts between business circles.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 29 that Saudi Arabia's invitation to SPIEF 2026 remains in force, despite the situation in the Middle East. He noted that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states are good partners and friends of Russia.
