From April 17 to May 17, the Moscow City Cancer Hospital No. 62 in Skolkovo will host the international exhibition of contemporary art "Together". This was reported in the Moscow City Hall.

"Moscow medicine is not only about technology and innovative treatment methods. It is also an atmosphere of human participation, which makes it easier to cope with the disease. And art plays an important role in creating such a favorable environment. We decided to show it in an unusual place, within the walls of the hospital. This is how the Together project appeared, which unites doctors, artists, architects and citizens. The project was implemented by the Moscow Department of Health with the support of the city's Department of Culture. Major Russian art institutions are involved in its creation: the Sabstantia creative ecosystem, the Triumph Gallery, and the GES-2 House of Culture. The exhibition helps to take a fresh look at the role of art as an assistant during treatment and recovery," said Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

The exposition will be located in two buildings of the cancer center, which will operate as an exhibition area until the official opening and admission of the first patients. More than 200 art objects and installations from 70 artists will be presented in the space with a total area of about 60 thousand square meters.

"Today, cultural, historical and educational expositions are increasingly moving beyond museum sites. Diverse exhibitions are opening on the boulevards and parks of the city, in youth, volunteer and other public spaces. The Together project will be another great example of this format," said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

Russian and foreign authors will take part in the exhibition. After its completion, some of the works will remain in the space of hospital No. 62 and will become the basis of a permanent art collection.
