On April 1, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statements of the head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, about Russia's alleged attacks on dozens of countries.

According to the Russian diplomat, such statements demonstrate gaps in the knowledge of the school curriculum.

"I'm sorry, does this list include World War I or World War II? The 1918 intervention? This is all a basic school course, also two points," she said during a briefing.

The diplomat also drew attention to Kallas' past experience in Estonia. Zakharova recalled that earlier the local court had already ordered the politician to withdraw public statements that were found to be factually unreliable.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed doubts about the current status of the head of the European diplomacy. Zakharova wondered if Kallas is now outside the jurisdiction of the Estonian justice system or if the country's judicial authorities have stopped responding to her statements.

On the same day, Kallas, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, stated that Russia had allegedly attacked at least 19 states over the past 100 years, not counting African countries. At the same time, the politician did not specify which countries he was referring to.
