An elderly man from the Lipetsk region caught fire from the gas stove turned on. Doctors are currently fighting for the 89-year-old pensioner's life.

The injured resident of the Gryazinsky district was admitted with burns of 30% of his body to Lipetsk City Hospital No. 3 Svobodny Sokol, GOROD48 writes.

As the doctors found out, due to careless handling of the stove, the patient's clothes burst into flames. His torso and face were burned. Lipchanin is currently in intensive care.
