Zakharova assessed Kiev's issuance of agreements with Arab countries as anti-Russian
Ukraine's attempts to portray the agreements it has reached with representatives of Arab countries as so-called anti-Russian solidarity are ridiculous. This was announced on April 1 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
"We consider these attempts to be ridiculous. We are convinced that Russia's friendly relations with the Persian Gulf monarchies will continue to develop," she said at a briefing broadcast on the Russian Foreign Ministry's RuTube channel.
Zakharova expressed confidence that the process of developing interstate relations will proceed regardless of the efforts of external forces to prevent it.
On March 30, Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Amir Saeed Iravani, called Kiev a participant in the aggression of Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran. Speaking about this, he said that the Ukrainian side had sent hundreds of its specialists to the territory of the Middle East, thereby assisting the Israeli-American forces.
On the same day, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Esmail Bagai, pointed out the desire of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to financially exhaust the Persian Gulf countries.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said on March 31 that Russia welcomes efforts to resolve the conflict in the Middle East and considers it important to participate in the process as a mediator. He stressed that the most important thing for Moscow is the effectiveness of mediation.
