IRGC struck another Israeli oil tanker in the Persian Gulf
The Iranian military has launched another strike on another Israeli-owned oil tanker in the central part of the Persian Gulf. This was announced on April 1 by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
It is specified that the attack was carried out by the IRGC Marine Corps unit.
"A tanker belonging to the Zionist regime, under the commercial name Aqua 1, in the Persian Gulf was hit by an accurate missile hit and is now on fire," the military said in a statement on the Telegram channel of the Iranian state television and radio company IRIB.
On March 19, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Moscow was seriously concerned about the ongoing armed confrontation in the Persian Gulf region, as well as the risks to the escalation scenario.
At the same time, on March 15, the commander of the IRGC Naval Forces, Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, indicated that the military had released several tankers with Iranian oil that had been detained earlier. He added that the released vessels were detained at a considerable distance from the Iranian coast.
