In the Belgorod region, two civilians were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 1 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the village of Oktyabrsky, Belgorod region, a man was injured during the detonation of a drone. He was taken to the Oktyabrskaya district hospital with shrapnel wounds to his face and legs," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, as a result of the impact, a commercial facility and four cars were damaged. In addition, in the village of Maksimovka, a Ukrainian drone attacked a vehicle, as a result of which a man was injured.

On the same day, Governor Yevgeny Balitsky announced that an elderly woman and a 12-year-old girl had died in an attack on an apartment building in Vasilyevka. As a result of the incident, four people were also injured, including one minor born in 2022.
