Experts named the most popular new cars in Russia

Among the new car models that officially entered the Russian market in 2025, the Tenet T7 crossover was the most popular in the first quarter of 2026. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on April 2.

Tenet T7 is a localized version of Chery Tiggo 7L in Russia. According to experts, this crossover became the leader of the rating with a 3.8% share of interest among users on the platform. The average price of the model was 2.9 million rubles, and the share in the supply of new cars reached 4.8%.

The second place was taken by another Tenet crossover, the compact T4, which is an analog of the Chery Tiggo 4. The share of interest was 3.7%, the average price was 2.3 million rubles, and the share in the supply of new cars was 4.5%.

Lada Iskra took the third position with a 1.8% share of interest, an average price of 1.5 million rubles and a 1.2% share of offers among new cars. The fourth is the Jetour T1 crossover with a 1% share of interest. The average price of a Chinese SUV was 3.9 million rubles, and the supply share reached 1%.

The top five were complemented by the Tenet T8 crossover (redesigned Chery Tiggo eighth series), the largest model of the brand at the moment. The share of interest is 0.8%, the average price is 3.8 million rubles, and the share of the offer on the platform is 1.1%.

The top ten most popular new cars in Russia in early 2026 were supplemented by the Belarusian-Chinese Belgee S50 sedan, hybrid crossovers Exeed Exlantix ET and Geely EX5 EM-i, as well as crossovers Chery Tiggo 7L and Haval H7.
