Russia is not going to ask anyone for permission to export its oil, and it does not understand why other states believe they have the right to impose their position on this issue. This was announced on April 1 by Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Accordingly, he commented on a Bloomberg article published on the same day, which stated that the United States, as part of the easing of sanctions against Russia, "allowed" the transportation of Russian oil along routes running through the territory of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China (PRC).

"I would like to ask undiplomatically: why the hell should we ask permission from someone to cooperate with those who want to cooperate with us? We will not ask for any permits here," TASS quoted Birichevsky as saying at the International Transport and Logistics Forum.

Speaking about this, the speaker added that the concept of sovereignty is an "inviolable asset" for Russia.

On the same day, Bloomberg called such steps in relation to oil from the Russian Federation temporary on the part of Washington. According to the agency, the decision to continue easing sanctions against Moscow is allegedly dictated by the desire to stabilize the global energy market.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, pointing to the direct impact of the escalation in the Middle East on energy markets, said that Russia could play an important role in shaping a new architecture for global logistics and international trade. He added that it would be possible to achieve this by offering Russian partners advantageous routes in terms of time and diversification.
