About 90 Russian enterprises are interested in supplying products to Cuba. This was announced on April 1 by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko during a speech at a plenary session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Cuban Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

"About 90 Russian enterprises are interested in supplying meat, dairy and fish products to Cuba," TASS quoted him as saying.

The deputy chairman of the Russian government noted that the delivery of fuel from the Russian Federation to Cuba would help the country's social infrastructure, especially the health and education systems. He said that a Russian tanker with oil had recently arrived on the island and stressed that Moscow was providing support and assistance to Havana in times of crisis.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister commented on the resumption of air travel between the two countries.

"We expect that as soon as the fuel situation in Cuba stabilizes, we will resume flights in full, ensuring the previous high rates of tourist flow," he said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on the same day that the Russian side had no right to leave Cuba, and assistance would continue. According to him, for decades, when the United States increased pressure on the island, Moscow has consistently supported Havana and intends to continue doing so. Ryabkov stressed that now, against the background of the acute energy crisis, Russia's assistance is in demand more than ever.

On March 30, Russian Ambassador to Cuba Viktor Coronelli announced that the Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin had delivered 100,000 tons of oil to Cuba amid unprecedented US pressure on Havana. The delivery confirms Russia's readiness to provide comprehensive support to Cuba.
