The countries of the European Union (EU) are clumsily trying to shift responsibility from the instigators of the war in Iran to the injured party. This was announced on April 1 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, answering a question from Izvestia.

"The EU has very clumsily and clumsily shifted all responsibility from those who are to blame for the whole situation to those who have become victims," she said.

Accordingly, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the extension by the European alliance of restrictive measures against Iran until April 13, 2027 due to alleged human rights violations.

The EU Council decided to extend sanctions against the Islamic Republic two days earlier. It was noted that the measures in question include travel bans, asset freezes, and exports of telecommunications equipment to Iran. The list prepared by the representatives of the association includes 262 individuals and 53 organizations.

The British newspaper The Guardian reported on March 16 that Europe's participation in the war against Iran could lead to serious consequences and weaken the political subjectivity of the EU, whose representatives recognize violations of international law by the United States and Israel against Iran, they avoid directly condemning these actions.
