At least 17 Lebanese were killed in attacks on Beirut and settlements in the south of the country, which were carried out by the Israeli Air Force. The relevant data on April 1 is provided in the summary of the Headquarters for Emergency Situations under the government.

It is noted that most of the victims followed the air raid on the Jnah area in the south of Beirut. Six people died there and 21 were injured. Information about five victims was received from Najara, a suburb of Saida, among them there are women and children.

In the village of Sarifa near Tyre, three civilians and one medical worker were killed after an air raid, and 19 more people were injured. In the city of Halde (south of Beirut), an Israeli drone destroyed a car, killing two people, TASS said.

Footage from the scene of the incident was shared with Izvestia by Al Mayadeen TV channel correspondent Sally Boo Merhi. The journalist reported that Israel had carried out three strikes on the Jnah area, destroying cars parked along the street and causing massive destruction.

"As a result of this attack, you can see huge destruction here on the street. The fire, which lasted until early morning, was extinguished by civil defense teams and specialized services until about five o'clock in the morning, and they were still working here on this street. First of all, they were engaged in clearing the rubble," the correspondent said.

The attacks also affected a busy residential area, a street with many cafes and shops. Residents there are usually present around the clock, in their cars, residential buildings or in commercial premises, said Sally Boo Merhi.

On March 30, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the number of Lebanese citizens who died as a result of Israeli attacks reached 1,247 people. It was noted that 124 children were among those killed due to Israeli strikes. At the same time, 418 minors were injured.

A day earlier, hundreds of people attended the funeral of journalists killed in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon. Footage of the funerals of correspondents Fatima Ftouni, Mohammed Ftouni and Ali Shuaib in Beirut was provided to Izvestia by Al Mayadeen TV channel.
