During March 2026, prices for new cars changed for 10 brands officially represented on the Russian market. Seven car companies raised their prices, while the rest lowered them. This was reported on April 1 by the analytical agency Autostat.

Thus, the Moskvich automobile plant increased prices for the crossover with the index 3, the domestic brand Tenet increased prices for the T4 and T8 crossovers, the Chinese brand BAIC raised prices for three of its models (U5 Plus, BJ60 and X55).

Also in the first month of spring, the Ambertruck Work pickup truck, the Nordcross 001 crossover, the KAMAZ Compass 5 light commercial vehicle in the Chassis version and the Evolute i-Joy electric crossover rose in price.

Three brands have lowered their prices. In March, the Omoda C7 and Exeed RX crossovers, as well as the GAC M8 minivan, fell in price in a number of trim levels.

Earlier, on March 30, Yuri Blinov, marketing director of Avilon AG, said that in April 2026, some models on the Russian car market could rise in price by 2-5%, and in segments where parallel imports are declining, by up to 10-15%. According to Nikolai Ivanov, director of the New car sales department at Rolf, if demand exceeds supply, this may lead to a moderate increase in prices — by 1.5–2%.
