A St. Petersburg woman stabbed her man in the eye out of jealousy

A young woman from St. Petersburg stabbed her lover in the eye, after which he died. The reason for the murder was jealousy, according to the press service of the city prosecutor's office.

The tragedy occurred on October 17, 2025 in the Frunzensky district, writes 78.ru . The victim and a drunk 27-year-old local resident were in an apartment on Oleko Dundicha Street.

At some point, the couple had a conflict based on jealousy. The townswoman stabbed the man twice, one of which hit him in the eye. The blade penetrated the cranial cavity and the brain.

As a result of the attack, the man died in hospital from his injuries. A criminal case of murder has been opened. The indictment has been approved and sent to the court for consideration.
