On April 1, a special fire protection regime began operating in Buryatia. It is forbidden to use an open fire in nature.

According to the UlanMedia news agency, entry and entry is prohibited in all forest areas where the regime is in effect. It is allowed to travel on public roads.

A special fire protection regime will be introduced in the Kuban region on April 15, in the Muisky and Okinsky districts, Bauntovsky, Evenki and North Baikal districts, and Severobaikalsk on May 1.

During the period of the regime, it is forbidden to burn dry grass and use an open fire. Individuals face fines of up to 50 thousand rubles for violations, and up to 1 million rubles for legal entities.

Since the beginning of 2026, seven cases of dry vegetation fire have occurred in Buryatia. The gorenje area was 52 hectares.
