The Moscow Arbitration Court ordered the Instasamka singer (real name is Daria Eropkina) to return more than 2.5 million rubles to the insurance company. This is stated in the materials that Izvestia reviewed on April 1.

We are talking about the so-called "refund of the damage paid": in such cases, the insurance company first compensates the injured party for the insurance, and then gets the right to demand this money from the person who, in its opinion, caused this damage.

After the payment, the insurers sued Instasamka with a demand to recover the costs incurred. This procedure is directly provided for by law: if the insurance company has paid for the damage, it can "transfer" this claim to the culprit.

In April last year, the Moscow Arbitration Court recovered 420 thousand rubles from the sushi and roll delivery network Ebidoebi in a lawsuit filed by Instasamka for using the reworked lyrics of the song "For money yes" in advertising without the consent of the artist. According to the Izvestia correspondent, the reason for filing the lawsuit was the videos posted by the restaurant on social networks — in them, the heroine in the image of an Instagrammer accepts food from a courier and parodies the singer.
