United Russia announced a plan to build another 1,000 youth laboratories.

Another thousand youth laboratories will be built in the Russian Federation by 2030 according to the popular program of the United Russia party. This was announced on April 1 by Alexander Mazhuga, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education.

"The idea of creating youth laboratories was born within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the President of Russia. They solve several key tasks at once: attracting young people to science and using the achievements of scientists in the life of the state and society," Mazhuga said in a statement published on the party's website.
