Sobyanin summed up the results of the 2025 concert season in Moscow

In 2025, Moscow's concert venues were visited by 2.4 million spectators. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in the MAX messenger.

"Many concerts, performances and productions were organized for the fighters of the SVO and residents of the new territories. In total, the Mosconcert Cultural Brigade held over 320 events in 2025," wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, the public continues to show great interest in classical art. This was confirmed by the Cultural City festival in Zaryadye Park: concerts of symphony orchestras, as well as ballet and opera productions were attended by more than 500 thousand spectators.

International cultural cooperation continues to develop. In 2025, more than 80 foreign artists and ensembles from 24 countries performed in Moscow's leading concert halls.

A number of new projects are planned for 2026. These include the holding of the first Moscow International Composer Competition, the modernization and re—equipment of the Pavel Slobodkin Moscow Theater and Concert Center on Arbat and the Moscow Concert halls on Pushechnaya Street, as well as the revival of the historic Chaliapin Stage concert venue in Sokolniki Park.

In addition, the modernization of the Small Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex will begin. After the completion of the work, it is planned to open a multifunctional entertainment youth center, which will host electronic festivals, music concerts and other events.

In 2025, 943 thousand spectators attended performances at the Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue. One of the main events was the Idol 2025 World Circus Art Festival, which was held from July 17 to August 17 for the ninth time.
