Abnormally hot weather is expected in several regions of the Central Federal District (CFD) from April 1 to 5. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from April 1 to April 5, abnormally hot weather is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region with an average daily air temperature exceeding the climatic norm by seven degrees or more," the Hydrometeorological Center said in an interview with TASS.

The institution also noted that the geography of the warning extends to the Vladimir, Kaluga, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Kostroma and Ivanovo regions.

On March 31, the website of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the capital reported adverse meteorological events in Moscow: abnormally hot weather is expected in the capital from April 1 to April 5. Rescuers advised Muscovites not to overheat in the sun due to the heat, to prefer light-colored clothes and hats, and to drink more water.
