- The State Duma proposed to create a service for revoking consent to the processing of personal data
The State Duma proposed the creation of a single service for revoking consent to the processing of personal data on the Gosuslugi portal. This was announced on April 1 by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, issues of public and religious associations, MP Yana Lantratova.
"In order to develop digital mechanisms for the protection of personal data, it seems promising to consider the possibility of creating a single digital service for revoking consent to the processing of personal data based on the portal of public services," RIA Novosti reports the text of the document.
The letter notes that such a service may include such features as displaying a list of organizations to which a citizen has consented to the processing of his personal data; remote revocation of such consent via an electronic interface; automatic notification to all operators of the revocation of consent; monitoring the timing of operators' obligations to stop processing data.
On March 13, Yana Lantratova sent an initiative to Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, to raise the income limit on bank deposits, under which families retain the right to monthly child support. The MP noted that the monthly allowance is a significant measure to support families, and current restrictions prevent the possibility of accumulating funds through banking products.
