The maximum overpayment on short-term loans of MFIs decreased from 130% to 100%
In Russia, from April 1, the maximum overpayment on short-term loans from microfinance organizations (MFOs) was reduced from 130% to 100% of the debt amount. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed such a law on December 29 last year.
At the same time, the maximum amount of a short-term microloan for companies or individual entrepreneurs was increased from 5 million to 15 million rubles.
