Shelly Cattellson, an American journalist abducted in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, was taken to Babil province. This was reported by the Shafaq News agency on March 31.

The article notes that according to preliminary data, the journalist was injured in an accident that happened along the way.

"According to initial findings, the journalist suffered bruises, probably as a result of a car accident that occurred during the abduction," the publication says.
