- In the WHO office in Tehran, windows were shattered as a result of strikes on the city.
The office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Tehran has been damaged as a result of strikes on the city over the past two days. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of WHO, told about this on March 31 in the social network X.
"Over the past two nights, strikes have been carried out in the area of the WHO office in the Iranian capital Tehran, resulting in broken windows. Fortunately, all employees of the WHO office in Iran are safe, and no one was injured," he said.
The head of the organization pointed out the inadmissibility of such attacks and stressed that the addresses of the WHO and the United Nations (UN) facilities are well known.
In Tereana, earlier in the day, one person was killed and two were injured as a result of a missile attack by the United States and Israel on a residential area in the northeast of the city. Also a day earlier, two people were killed and five injured in attacks on an orphanage in northern Iran. It is specified that the orphanage is located in the city of Ferdis, Alborz province.
