The season of summer verandas of cafes and restaurants has begun in the capital

The summer veranda season of cafes and restaurants has opened in Moscow, which, weather permitting, will last until November 1. This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

She recalled that if an entrepreneur plans to equip such a site, it should be included in the city's layout. Today, more than 5,000 institutions have been included in this document — almost one in five.

"Summer verandas are part of the look of modern Moscow. They attract citizens and tourists with their atmosphere and comfort. Over the past year, their number in the placement scheme has increased by more than 20%," she noted.

The dynamics were influenced, in particular, by the appearance on the portal in 2025. mos.ru services for simplified coordination of seasonal facilities, said the Moscow Department of Trade and Services.

The city provides restaurateurs with the opportunity to maintain seasonal sites even during the colder months, which means that the owners of establishments save on the installation and dismantling of facilities.

Experts from the State Inspectorate for the Control of the Use of Real Estate in Moscow and the Metropolitan Association of Administrative and Technical Inspections, who conduct individual consultations and free webinars, help to understand the rules for the placement of summer verandas.
