Zelensky announced his intention to hold talks with Rutte, Witkoff and Kushner
Negotiations between Ukraine and the United States will be held in a video format with the participation of Special envoy of the President of the United States Steve Witkoff. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on March 31.
"Let's discuss <...> how close we are to a trilateral agreement, at least to a trilateral meeting," Zelensky's Telegram channel reports the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
According to the President of Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the son-in-law of the American leader Jared Kushner and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring) will also take part in the negotiations.
On the same day, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko announced that there was no timetable for new negotiations on Ukraine. He explained that the negotiation process has been suspended "due to various circumstances."
Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on March 29 that Washington had provided Moscow with several interesting, but so far impossible, proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He noted that the considerations of the American side, in his opinion, are useful.
